Indenfor Geocaching bruger man prim\u00e6rt DDM<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> koordinat formatet som h\u00f8rer under det globale geod\u00e6tiske reference system wgs-84<\/strong>. DDM st\u00e5r for Degree of Decimal minutter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et eksempel kunne v\u00e6re N56 27,142 E8 52,608<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N56 og E8 er Degrees (grader).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

27,142 og 52,608 er Decimal minutter <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det kan virke lidt forvirrende at der i forskellige APPs kan v\u00e6re flere eller f\u00e6rre tal efter punktummet i et DDM koordinat end der kan tastes ind i en Garmin gps eller p\u00e5 geocaching.com hjemmesiden. Det skyldes at det skal afrundes til 3 cifre efter kommaet. Mere om det l\u00e6ngere nede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fra Google Maps til Geocaching.com<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hvis du som eksempel vil ligge en skat ved et hus eller et tr\u00e6 og du kan finde det p\u00e5 f.eks Google Maps kan du markere dette og f\u00e5 et koordinat i DD format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeg vil her vise hvordan du kan konvertere fra Decimalgrader (DD) som f.eks Google Maps bruger til DDM formatet som Geocaching.com bruger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her er et koordinat jeg har taget p\u00e5 et online kort fra Sevel omr\u00e5det i Vestjylland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latitude: 56,4523635 og Longitude: 8,8767979<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I Latitude tager man de 56 ud, og s\u00e6tter et N (Nord) foran da dette tal er positiv. Hvis der havde st\u00e5et -56 skulle der st\u00e5 S (syd) foran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e5 st\u00e5r der 0,4523635 tilbage som ganges med 60 = 27,14181.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De 27.14181 afrundes s\u00e5 der kun er 3 cifre efter kommaet. Dvs 27,142<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e5 st\u00e5r der N56 27,142<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e5 pr\u00f8ver vi med Longitude hvor vi tager tallet 8 der st\u00e5r f\u00f8r kommaet ud og s\u00e6tter E (\u00d8st) foran da tallet er positiv. Havde det v\u00e6ret negativ skulle der st\u00e5 W (Vest).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der st\u00e5r tilbage 0,8767979 som ganges med 60 = 52,607874 som afrundes s\u00e5 der er 3 cifre efter kommaet dvs 52,608<\/p>\n\n\n\n
